It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you, how I became My Umbrella Print and how I can help you with print, marketing, and design.
I was born in Dublin, Ireland, into a family of Printers of 2 generations. My Dad had his own printing business and my 2 brothers served their Printing apprenticeship with him. As a child I loved to drop into the business just to see the machines, the hustle and bustle of the staff and it always amazed me watching the printing presses and seeing the final product ready for the customer.
In 1984 we emigrated to Canada, my Parents, my five siblings (3 brothers and 2 sisters) and our dog "Champ". It was a huge move for us but we settled in eventually. My Dad continued in the Printing industry opening up a printing business in Brampton, Ontario. Listening to print talk at the dinner table with my Mom, Dad and brothers, it was engrained into my head. You can say that Printing was in our veins.
By the time I left school and trying different fields , I always ended up gravitating towards printing and design. I upgraded my skills throughout the years and then graphic design became my passion. Mixing my printing, design and marketing knowledge I knew I had a lot to offer.
That was when My Umbrella Print was born 8 years ago. I am proud of the relationships I have created throughout the years. Clients have become friends and I am grateful for the recommendations along the way.
My ultimate goal is to help my clients, work with their budget, advice on stock, finishes, pricing etc. Giving different options if I feel it may help. My years in the printing industry has allowed me to create strategic partnerships with the best in the business. I will do the work to make sure you get the best pricing and service.
